In the book of Revelation specifically in chapter 17, we have the description of a harlot woman riding on a scarlet beast. The scriptures go on to say that her name is “Mystery Babylon the Great, the Mother of Harlots and Abominations of the Earth”. In verse 19 her identity is defined even further by describing her as “that great city who reigns over all the kings of the earth”.
Thus, the harlot which is called Mystery Babylon the Great is “that great city”.
What goes on in this great city? Well, Revelation 17:6 states that she is drunk with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Yeshua. Revelation 18:3, 9-24 details her destruction while at the same time giving us a retrospect about what it was like being with this city. The kings and merchants of the earth had waxed rich through the abundances of her delicacies.
This harlot city will be a place of severe suppression of the saints and prophets of Yeshua while at the same time acting as the centralized hub for worldwide commerce and earthly wealth. We will see benevolence on the surface to those who follow her way but underneath we will see the viciousness towards those who are Yeshua’s people. These two aspects will be the telltale activities to watch for regarding the identity of this harlot city.
Eventually, she is burned with fire by the hatred of the scarlet beast with its ten (10) horns that she rides (Revelation 17:16). This is supported by the prophecy of Jeremiah 51, specifically in the opening verses. Jeremiah 51:1-2 "This is what the LORD says: "See, I will stir up the spirit of a destroyer against Babylon and the people of Leb Kamai. I will send foreigners to Babylon to winnow her and to devastate her land; they will oppose her on every side in the day of her disaster." The spirit of a destroyer and foreigners is Jeremiah's reference to the Revelation 17 description of the scarlet beast with ten (10) horns destroying Babylon who had been sitting upon it.
Clearly, Mystery Babylon the Great will be a city of great influence during the tribulation. She may be a mystery for now, but can we know which city will become this harlot sitting upon the scarlet beast and is drunk with the blood of the saints?
There are some pieces of evidence coming forth now that are giving us a clearer idea of which city this will be. It could very well be London, England.
Let’s check out these pieces of evidence and find out if this could be strongly probable.
ONE:
We’ll begin with the harlot city’s name: Mystery Babylon the Great, the Mother of Harlots and Abominations of the Earth.
The scriptures have already described to us that the harlotry of this city is to be the centralized location of worldwide commerce and wealth. Do we see that currently in our day and time? Yes we do. That would be London, England. Just do an Internet search to find out which city is the world leader in commerce. New York City and London both are considered to be the top ranking locations for worldwide commerce. But there is something special about London. Long before New York City was a city of importance, the idea of establishing a stock market trading center took place in London. Once it began operations and was shown to be extremely successful, other countries followed suit – especially those in Britain’s Commonwealth domain. Later on, New York City became a harlot city as well.
The point is this, London fulfills the description here of being the Mother of Harlots because worldwide commerce originated and continues in London, and has branched out worldwide to other cities.
TWO:
Mystery Babylon the Great is also the Mother of Abominations of the Earth. Abominations are things that Elohim detests. What are those things? Here is a list:
Proverbs 6:16-19 There are six things the Lord hates, seven that are detestable to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush into evil, a false witness who pours out lies and a person who stirs up conflict in the community.
The actions and the person(s) committing these actions are out-rightly judged as abominations to Elohim.
Again, London has a much longer history as a city than any of the other world commerce centers and each of these seven descriptions from Proverbs 6 easily describe London.
THREE:
She is “that great city that reigns over all the kings of the earth”. London is the city that is the central hub of a worldwide Commonwealth of 54 nations. Nations today voluntarily are part of the Commonwealth, but there is a protocol to follow to be a member. Thus the sun still does not set on what had formerly been the British Empire but is now the Commonwealth of Nations. Even though a number of nations have changed from being under the overarching control of the Commonwealth to voluntary members during Queen Elizabeth’s reign, London’s influence remains. That influence will only grow as London takes center stage in world events, based on the leadership of the monarchy and the financial/economic district. It’s interesting to note that all world leaders pay a visit to Buckingham palace during their tenures as leaders, including Russia and China.
The point is this: as the hub of a worldwide group of nations that will grow from its current 54 nation base, this is another clue that identifies London as the city that reigns over all the kings of the earth.
FOUR:
In the Fall of 2022 there was a world leader’s climate conference held on the Sinai Peninsula called COP27. This conference had multiple agenda’s to be ratified but the one that caught the most attention was the call to all religions of the world to unite together in one accord and preach about the urgency for mankind to repent for the sins of polluting the earth. Many inter-faith groups climbed to the top of the Egyptian Mt. Sinai to proclaim their desire to do this. Mock tablets representing the 10 Commandments were smashed and a declaration was read letting people know that this event was happening on 10 different mountains worldwide CULMINATING with a special reading of a new set of climate change ten commandments in London, England. At the same time, during this reading on the Egyptian Mt. Sinai, it was recalled that these climate change ten commandments were first initiated in 2009 at WINDSOR CASTLE with Prince Philip. They are called the Windsor Commitments.
The point is this; the centralization of organizing the world religions has begun and will remain in England and specifically in London with a new centralized religious center set to open in the heart of London in 2023 called CoExist House (see flag symbols).
An interesting point to note about the origin of the name Babylon; here is a quote from a National Geographic publication titled "The Letter and the Scroll" under the section "The City of Ur"; "Scholars believe that the word may also be derived from the Akkadian root of the name Babylon; bab-ili, gate of the god." (highlight mine). Another way would be to say that Babylon is the doorway to the house of the god. This means that the one place to worship 'god' will be in the place called Babylon. This will be the house of the 'god'. That is what London will be, the center for all religions of the world, unifying them under the banner of 'global crisis'. The CoExist House could be the start of this. King Charles III is well documented as an activist for change of lifestyle to slow down the rate of 'global crisis'. He is not just meaning the environment, but also the economy, the rules of law, the global population, global sustainability, agriculture, pollution and so on. But it is also well documented that all world economies and lifestyles are founded on religious principles (Western culture is based on Christianity, Oriental culture is based on multiple gods, Arab culture is based on Islam, etc.). Thus it will require the religions to become unified in order to affect the lifestyles of the citizens. What better way to bring about that unification than with the urgency of a 'global crisis'?
This is easy to understand because whenever there has been a crisis in the past, religions join together and work to fight off the crisis. The religious principles of Henri Dunant, propelled him to create the Red Cross and the Red Crescent (aka the International Federation of the Red Cross) in 1859. This organization states it is not religious based, but the ideals within are evidently motivated by the religious teachings of the founder. In reality, many religious organizations work through pr with the IFRC to fulfill their religious obligations. Unified religion is even portrayed in so-called doomsday type movies like the movie called 'Armageddon'. People are shown gathering in their respective religous manners, praying side-by-side in unity to their respective god's during a global crisis of a potential asteroid strike that would wipe out humanity. It's echoed again in other movies such as Independance Day and its sequel.
Since King Charles III ascended the throne in 2023, we have been seeing London manifest into the preeminent influencer of the world and it will only grow stronger. The British royal family are constant headliners in world news, reminding everyone of the British presence. Meanwhile the financial world is abuzz with the London Stock Exchange slated to outperform the stock exchanges of the EU and the US in 2024. London will be the gateway to the 'god' in more ways than one. And it won't matter which 'god' it is apparently, just as long as it brings about unity, aka whoredom of the faiths.
FIVE:
The coat of arms for the city of London is that of two dragons holding a knights shield with the St. George’s cross. The image of a dragon clutching a heraldic shield is also being used as ornamental boundary markers at points of entry into London. The association of two dragons representing London connects this city with the scarlet beast of Revelation 17. This beast is a merging of the Revelation 13 beast from the sea with the Revelation 12 red dragon. (see article “Understanding the Prophetic Beasts” for details).
As well, the dragon standard called a Draco was used by cavalry battalions of the Roman Empire’s army. The main standard was the eagle which identified a full legion of warriors but the Draco identified these highly feared warriors on horseback. Since then, the dragon symbol has been tied to the Roman Empire. London’s usage of the dragon symbol reflects the regions ties and origins to the Roman Empire of old. To those who understand prophecy, this symbol also identifies that the Roman Empire has not completely disappeared as have the empires before it. For centuries, the dragon symbol has been part of each successive attempt to resurrect a form of the Roman Empire. Prophetically speaking, a final attempt will happen when the events pertaining to the two feet made of iron and clay manifest upon this earth. The iron has always represented the Roman Empire (based on historical data) while many speculate what the clay represents. As world events unfold, we are going to see who or what collaborates with the iron of the Roman Empire so we will know who or what is the clay. Time will tell and it won’t be long now.
The point is this: Even today, London is showing its colours as a continuance of the Roman Empire with the dragon symbol. London is the center of the final manifestation of iron feet from Nebuchadnezzar’s dream. This is giving us a point of reference to watch for with the future inclusion of clay. As already mentioned, world religious leaders are organizing their peoples to rally under the banner of repenting for climate change.
Even though there is much division amongst religious leaders pertaining to their beliefs, they are uniting under this one common belief they must step in and do their part with world leaders (who are under London’s influence) in preventing climate change. This is not a very strong group, but with their influence upon the peoples around the world they could be instrumental in supporting the goals of the Roman Empire/iron portion of the feet. Could this group be the clay?
SIX:
Queen Elizabeth II reigned for 70 years. She celebrated this momentous occasion in the spring of 2022 then died months later. There is a scripture about 70 years like the days of one king…in this case a queen who reigns as a king (in other words, not a queen consort). A certain city will be forgotten for that period of time but at the end of that 70 years the city will be visited by the LORD and she will return to her prostitute’s wages and commit prostitution with the world.
Isaiah 23:15-18 “ Now on that day Tyre will be forgotten for seventy years like the days of one king. At the end of seventy years it will happen to Tyre as in the song of the prostitute:
16 Take your harp, wander around the city, You forgotten prostitute; Pluck the strings skillfully, sing many songs, That you may be remembered.
17 It will come about at the end of seventy years that the Lord will visit Tyre. Then she will go back to her prostitute’s wages and commit prostitution with all the kingdoms on the face of the earth. 18 Her profit and her prostitute’s wages will be sacred to the Lord; it will not be stored up or hoarded, but her profit will become sufficient food and magnificent attire for those who dwell in the presence of the Lord.”
Tyre is the city mentioned in these scriptures but this is symbolism of the city in the end times who will become Babylon the Great. What happened to Tyre will happen to the city that acts like Tyre did. Tyre was a central hub for commerce and trade and developed other satellite centers in other cities. Tyre was much like a mother of harlots. In the end, Tyre went though destruction and is no longer a city of any substance. Interestingly, a much harsher outcome is what happens to Babylon the Great. The harlot city will be totally destroyed, beginning with the 10 horns of the scarlet dragon and then the final destruction at the hands of our returning Messiah, Yeshua.
The death of Queen Elizabeth just months after her 70th year celebration is very recent history. It was during her reign that we saw Commonwealth nations reject or forgo (forget) British rule. Queen Elizabeth presided over a crumbling empire where seventeen nations transitioned from Empirical status to democratic states. These actions can be translated to mean that London (the Queen's seat of power) "has been forgotten for seventy years like the reign of one king".
Since so much has been happening to London for the past 70 years and the scriptures mentioned above say that the LORD will visit "this city", it raises the question; are we about to see the LORD visit London now that Queen Elizabeth has died? Will we be seeing this city go back to her prostitute’s wages and such yet? Have we seen her plucking her harp and singing songs?
We very well could have seen the harlot city plucking her harp and singing songs with the convening of the interfaith organizations on Parliament Hill in London for a climate repentance ceremony. The religious angle of the climate change agenda could well be the first real salvo that openly lays the foundation for the upcoming Great Reset which inaugurates the Fourth Industrial Revolution – a period of time when Mystery Babylon the Great does prostitute herself with the world through commerce and trade.
As for the other portion of Isaiah 23:17-18 that describes:
the LORD visiting her;
the city going back to her prostitute’s wages, etc.;
the profit from her will be sacred to the LORD;
we have not seen that manifest - yet, but there are indications that this is about to happen (the London Stock Exchange becoming a powerhouse now, etc.).
And clearly, with the religious world opening the door with their climate change repentance events at COP27 and the G20 conference showing their approval for a worldwide digital health ID, plus with the scripture stating that the harlot city rises again as a prostitute at the end of the 70 years, we will see this happen very soon.
But here is a hypothesis about these portions of scripture that may play out;
The LORD visiting ‘Tyre’ (the modern version of Tyre). What will this look like? As Isaiah 23:17 states, it is after the LORD visits her that she goes back to her prostitution. Translating that to our current world scenario, the LORD will visit London is such a way so that this city will once again become the dominant city for commerce and trade (harlotry).
The city going back to her prostitutes wages, etc. This indicates that commerce and trade will increase for London to the point where it becomes the number one ranking center from which the economy worldwide will revolve. This is the start up of what will eventually become a city of extreme contrasts of wealth and bloodshed (Revelation 17).
The harlot city’s wages and profit will be sacred to the LORD (Isaiah 23:18a). Why would the LORD want the wages and profit of a harlot city and make it sacred?
The LORD will be using “her profit to provide sufficient food and magnificent attire for those who dwell in the presence of the LORD.” (Isaiah 23:18b) So, the profit is for the LORD to give to those who dwell in His presence. Where will His presence be when He returns? He will be in Jerusalem and those who dwell in His presence will be dwelling in the city of Jerusalem.
So, there seems to be a connection between London (as the harlot) and Jerusalem (the receiver of her wages that will be sacred to the LORD). But why will the LORD want to give this prostitutes profit to those who dwell in the presence of the LORD?
This is where ‘the 70 years like the days of one king’ comes in.
London experienced a period of 70 years as the seat of power for a single reigning monarch who fulfilled the Isaiah 23:15-18 scriptures of ruling for 70 years. It is a very rare feat for a monarch to reign for such a length of time as 70 years. Within the history of Great Britain, Queen Elizabeth II has been the only reigning 70 year monarch serving from 1952 to 2022. She died on September 8, 2022 just months after celebrating her milestone reign.
During her reign, London diminished as an economic and trading powerhouse and so did the reach of her dominion as various countries exited the Commonwealth. The main reason for this stemmed from the Second World War which had thrust the United States into that coveted position of world dominance.
But lately, with the political, economic, sovereignty and military structures of the world in a new state of constant flux, London seems to be once again rising as a city of great dominance. This growing rise to dominance is lead by King Charles III who is focusing his reign on the 'global crisis' with multiple levels of initiatives. It seems that now countries are making efforts to once again connect with Great Britain based on these initiatives.
Now that the 70 year reign of the one ‘king’ has ended, we are going to see the other elements of Isaiah 23:17-18 begin to manifest and we will see the city become the harlot city that fulfills the description of the Revelation 17 harlot city as Mystery Babylon the Great, Mother of Harlots and Abominations of the Earth.
Her profits will be sacred to the LORD and He will give them to those who dwell with Him – in Jerusalem. The connection is that Jerusalem also experienced a period of 70 years.
Jerusalem was also described as a harlot city. In 2 Chronicles 21:11, 13, Jeremiah 2:20 and Isaiah 1:21 Jerusalem is specifically described as a harlot city for following after all manner of ways that are not of the LORD.
This resulted in the Southern Kingdom with Jerusalem as its capital city experiencing captivity for 70 years in the Babylonian Empire. At the end of the 70 years, they were allowed to return to Jerusalem and rebuild the Temple that had been destroyed. But it didn’t take long for harlotries to resume resulting in The Land being overrun again and again by the various Empires through the centuries.
Could it be that the LORD is designating the profits of a current harlot city (London) to be given to a former now repentant harlot city (Jerusalem) as a reminder to this former harlot city (Jerusalem) of the redemptive path she has taken to go from being a prostitute to becoming the sacred place for the LORD and His people to dwell?
Time will tell.
There is one final piece that played out in the summer of 2022 which seemed to be an announcement of London’s intentions to be Mystery Babylon. The opening ceremonies of the Commonwealth Games were a very ritualistic display of flaunting scripture. The performance involved a massive towering steel bull that was calmed by a special woman with powers who then gets on its back and rides around the stadium. The bull then shines a light from its chest to a structure at the opposite end that rises up like a tower of Babel. All this is reminiscent of the harlot riding the scarlet beast. Every four years the Games are held in various Commonwealth countries and in 2022 they were held in Birmingham, England just an hour and a half from London. The former Prince Charles, who is now King Charles III presided over the ceremonies.
These are the points in play that seem to indicate that London may very well be the harlot city riding on the scarlet beast. In the end, the 10 horns on the scarlet beast hate the harlot. They make her desolate and naked (probable destruction of infrastructure) and will eat her flesh (kill the inhabitants within) and burn her up with fire (reminiscent but more ferocious compared to the great London fire of September 2, 1666).
Here is one more interesting piece of information. According to the timeline of end time events, it has been determined that Yeshua will return on Yom Teruah in the Gregorian year of 2040. Yom Teruah that year takes place on September 7/8. Could it be that the great London fire that started on September 2, 1666 could take place again on that date in 2040? It is the 10 horns on the scarlet beast that make her desolate, etc. and this could take place on September 2nd, just one week before Yeshua’s return when He will make a complete destruction of that city which acts as the capital of the kingdom of hasatan. Then as He returns, the final remnants of the kingdom of hasatan is destroyed; the beast and the false prophet are captured and thrown into the lake of fire while hasatan is thrown into the bottomless pit.
Gone is hasatan’s kingdom upon this world and gone is the influence of his central city - the gateway to the god; Mystery Babylon the Great, the Mother of Harlots and Abominations of the Earth. Now we will live in Yeshua’s kingdom with Jerusalem as His city of peace.
